Long Time No See

In 1992 I worked at an orphanage in Guatemala. Nine years later I returned with a video camera to find out what had happened to the children that I once looked after. A personal testimony, the film faces up to some painful truths about the work of foreign volunteers.

The research context of the film explored epistemological implications, when the filmmaker use himself as a vehicle to mediate ethnographic knowledge to the audience through reflexive, autobiographical and self-confessional documentary forms.
