My grandmother was very good at preserving things. Plastic bags were turned inside out, washed, dried, nicely folded, and put in the closet. I am not like her. I buy a lot of things I don't really need. But how do I make sense of all the things I buy? Is this how I create my history?

This documentary investigates how we give meaning to our consumption and how we communicate and try to express ourselves through our material abundance.
