Weedy Kin

This semi-animated, ethnographic film unpacks the journey of two women – the anthropologist's mother and grandmother – who engage with herbal medicine in their daily lives. Through these practices, they seek to heal enduring traces of illness and the aftermath of war while establishing a sense of belonging through medicinal, and otherwise 'weedy', plants.
